Hall Family
What can I say about Paris and her family? Well, lots if I really think back to the first time I photographed this growing brood back in 2012 ( 7 years ago ). Wow, time flys doesn't it?
I had not seen Paris for a few years until July 2019. Things had gone quiet as I myself had started my own family and so bookings were always limited. Did that stop this gorgeous extended family from coming back again to see me, no? In fact, this time Paris brought along her 3 parents too for some extra special grandparent and grandchildren memories.
To say the shoot was hectic is probably a little unstated but you know what that is what makes for an amazing session. The life and energy kids can bring to a shoot is electric. From a very young baby boy 3months new to the eldest boy of 13yrs we had a variety of not only ages but personalities to shoot this day.
We discussed locations. We had done the country look a few times before and decided that the forest scene was the way to go this evening. We then discussed clothing.
Now Paris took up my offer on a clothing guide. We discussed her look she wanted, and then the 100 of texts back and forth began lol. I was with Paris the whole way as she chose the most perfect outfit for each member. I was with her on her shopping spree as each item she spotted was photographed and text straight to my phone for a discussion. We wanted a certain look but with a pop of colour to make each image stand out from the rest.
But it didn't stop there. My business is known for its vibrant style but this session needed something different. For my client's benefit, I edited two styles. One bright, one art. Paris chose art, a darker mysterious editing style. I must say this is fun to create and completely my clients choice. Paris had a set of images she wanted to be captured with this family of 13, we had chosen the wall art in mind and shot for that display. I think the results speak for themselves. Everything my client wanted from the clothing guidance to the location to editing style to now having this art almost ready to hang in her family home.,
